I’ve been working hard on my new solo CD which will be entitled “Theatrical Music for Solo Percussion.” The recordings have been going well with my first session last weekend and the second one this coming weekend. I hope to get Stuart Saunders Smith’s The Authors a marimba opera and Georges Aperghis’ Le Corps a Corps for solo zarb and speaking voice done by the end of next weekends’ sessions. I’m recording the CD in the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center’s stunning Dekelboum Concert Hall which is making my marimba sound killer!
